Description: 
Porcelain shallow saltcellar on raised foot; the border of the foot is composed of a blue enamel band, bounded above by a gilded rust band with a gold line with painted waves; at the top of each wave is a blue diamond and between the diamonds are blue dots; the border pattern is composed of a gilded band at the rim, bounded in turn by a blue enamel band, which is in turn bounded within by arust band with gold dots, again bounded by a gold line with painted waves; at the tip of each wave is a blue diamond; at the top are the remnants of a blue and gilded rust husk band that, in others of this set interlaces with a gold vine; at the center is a gilded blue enamel floral spray.

Porcelain tea bowl with shaped rims; decorated on interior rim with underglaze blue border of butterflies and diaper and gilt details; exterior rim has gilt wave pattern; exterior of bowl has a polychrome enamel shield with a floral surrounding and iron red and gilt initials in the center, opposite the shield is a floral spray.

This tea service was owned by Ann (Rapelje) Duyckinck (1733-1789), who married Gerards Duyckinck in 1752. According to the donor, the set was acquired at the time of their wedding; however, it was probably made about thirty-five years later, when such porcelain became available on the American market.

Porcelain tureen with gilt pine cone knop and interlacing reeded handles terminating in berry and leaf sprays; the border pattern is composed of a gilded band at the rim, bounded in turn by a blue enamel band, which is in turn bounded within by a gilded iron red band; within this is a gold, scalloped line with blue diamonds at each point; the secondary border is composed of interlaced bands of blue and gold husks and a plain gold vine; at the center of each side of the tureen and cover is a floral spray.
