Description: 
Wooden tea chest covered with black lacquer inlaid with pieces of mother-of-pearl (lac burgauté); rectangular form with flat chamfers, flat, hinged lid, brass rosette mounts with bail handle at each side, and abstract batwing brass escutcheon; mother-of-pearl with green and purple sheen, forming scenes on top and front consisting of figures in landscape, with water and cliffs indicated in background, other sides covered with clusters of flowers and leaves; single branch with fruit on inside of lid, also attached with textile hinges; inside, pewter container, conforming to shape of chest, with engraved and chased abstract pattern of flowers and leaves; pewter lid and tray fitted into mouth of container, center of lid engraved and chased with scene depicting two figures among profusion of floral pattern; remains of tea inside container; key tied to handle.

Description: 
Wooden (probably oak) bottle case composed of chest with flat, hinged lid, metal fittings nailed on to corners and edges, rosette mounts with bail handle at each side, and hasp lock at front (with square escutcheon); inside covered in blue and white patterned paper, divided into ten square compartments with two circular holders at center for tumblers; two colorless blown glass tumblers with tapered forms and pontil marks, with copper wheel engraved decoration consisting of large flower surrounded by tendrils and leaves; ten colorless blown glass bottles of various sizes, rectangular with straight sides, rounded shoulders, short cylindrical necks with ridge formed by second gather, and pontil marks, with copper wheel engraved decoration on all sides consisting of flowers framed by narrow bouquet of stem, leaves, and other foliage; cork stoppers with metal sheaths with rings, one colorless glass stopper.

Rectangular mahogany veneered writing desk with flat, hinged lid, borders on lid and front of desk, each defined by thin inlaid strip of metal with decorative fleur-de-lis motifs inside each corner, rounded edges bound in metal, metal handles flush with each side of desk, and round escutcheon; inside lid, cream damask accordion file with two compartments, with cardboard front covered in blue damask and bordered with gold braid; lid opens to reveal flat surface covered in black felt, in front of set of compartments (with tray and baton) balanced on top of three narrow drawers with cloth pulls; flat surface folds out to reveal slanted writing surface covered in black textile; front half of writing surface can be folded back to reveal narrow compartment; top half can be folded back to reveal larger compartment extending to back of desk, under static bank of compartments and drawers; contains strip of wood.

Rectangular mahogany writing desk with rosette mounts with bail handle on each side and keyhole on top; front quarter segment of desk opens out from middle of top to lie even with bottom, forming slanted writing surface covered in green textile, and revealing front of static frame, divided into drawers; front half of writing surface can be folded back to reveal narrow compartment containing leather wallet with four slips of cardboard and sealing wax on paper; top half can be folded back to reveal larger compartment extending to back of desk, with bottom covered in brown paper, under drawers with brass pulls dangling from knobs; one drawer divided into eight smaller compartments.
