Silver cream ladle with a slightly upturned pointed handle with a chamfered border, threaded shield reserve engraved, "S" in gothic script with embossed laurel garland around on the front and a full midrib on the underside; shallow, horizontal elliptical bowl with an arched drop; maker's marks stamped on the underside of the handle.

Wrought silver card case with nine paper visiting cards inside; rectangular body with rounded corners and scalloped sides; hinged lid with bezel; repoussé image of the Capitol Building, Washington, D.C. on one side and image of Washington's tomb on the other; images surrounded by foliate scrolls; repoussé banner engraved, "M. A. Dayton" in script above the Capitol building; maker's mark, "D" stamped on the bezel. Nine rectangular paper visiting cards.

Seamed and cast silver card case; rectangular body with rounded corners and sides; shield-shaped, hinged lid with rounded sides and a bezel; cast cherubim with foliate legs, holding rings applied to the sides; rings attach to a circular link chain; each side of the body engraved with flowers and foliate scrolls around heart-shaped reserves; front reserve engraved, "C E A" in gothic script; maker's marks stamped on the bezel; ovoid, red leather case with tooled decoration on the domed lid; hinged down one side with two metal hook and eye clasps on the opposite side; lid lined with white silk; molded bottom lined with green velvet; retailers sticker applied to the underside.
