Leaded glass and bronze "Peacock" table lampshade; 18 1/2" diameter globe-shaped shade with slightly concave apron, depicting peacock feathers; feathers rendered in purplish crimson with striations of blue, green and gold; "eyes" of blue-green stippled glass bordered by gold glass with orange mottles; feathers near apron with green plumage. Shown on integrated bronze Peacock base (N84.86.2) with 12" scalloped platform with raised design of peacock feathers, each with a bluish-green mosaic "eye" at its center; base has amphora shape with six bulging bronze sections.
