Ethnography. Studies of Native Americans: a medicine man, or spiritual leader, performs a ritual with a shield and bow on the top of a large round topped skin hut decorated with buffalo skulls. Tribe members on the ground and the tops of other huts watch this ceremony that continues unceasingly night and day until rain falls.
