According to the accession records, this bottle was found by Joseph Rapport and Richard Koke of the New-York Historical Society in Battery Park in 1949 in the excavations for Brooklyn-Battery Tunnel and Battery Park Underpass. A patent was granted to Henry Ricketts in 1821 for his three-part bottle mold which included a fourth mold part, i.e. a base-molding section. English and American glasshouses used molds of this type, although they were not necessarily Ricketts' patented molds.

This knife was excavated by Reginald P. Bolton and others from the floors of twenty huts that were built onto the side of a hill that once stood on the east side of Broadway at Arden Street in Washington Heights, Manhattan. Built after the surrender of Fort Washington by American forces on November 16, 1776, the camp was occupied by British and Hessian troops until evacuation in 1783.

This handle was excavated by the Field Exploration Committee from a refuse deposit near a military camp and fort at Richmond, Staten Island. Built after the arrival of British forces under General William Howe in July, 1776, the fort was occupied by British and Hessian troops until evacuation in 1783. The handle may have been part of a spoon or fork.
