The outside packet and bottle label read "100/ William R.Warner & Co.'s/ Original Pill Cascara Cathartic/(Dr. Hinkle)", with ingredients list and a description of the action and effectiveness of the product. Contained both belladonna and strychnine, poisonous in high dosages.
