A gold colored metal tin printed with black diagonal and cross-hatched lines. The front reads "Rigollot's Paper/ Or Mustard Leaves/ For Sinapsisms/ In Use In All Paris Hospitals/ in the field and military Hospitals/ in the French navy & in the Royal/ Naval Hospitals of England/ Manufactured By Rigollot/ 24 Avenue Victoria, 24/ Paris/ To be had of all the principal Chemists/ and drug-stores in the World". The reverse lists the advantages of the product and directions for use.The sides read "Silver Medal at The Universal Exibitions[sic] Havre 1868 Paris 1878", and "Gold Medal Lyons International Exibition[sic] 1872". One mustard 'leaf' is still inside.
