This pocket watch is made of silver-colored base metal and has a simple, inexpensive unmarked clockwork and lists on the inside back patent dates from 1878 through 1894. The face has a monogram "W C Co." It opens only from the back, and winds from the back rather than from the stem.

The face reads "Yankee/ R.H. Ingersoll & Bro./ New York, U.S.A.". It opens only from the back, and winds from the back rather than from the stem.
