Gallery Label: 

Milton K. Paine was a druggist and apothecary in Windsor, Vermont as early as 1868 and as late as 1880. In 1868, his business was located at the corner of Main & State Streets where he manufactured and sold wholesale and retail his Green Mountain Balm. Advertisement for the product featured the "Green Mountain Boys Gathering Materials for Paine's Celebrated Green Mountain Balm of Gilead and Cedar Plaster."
