In 1933, Chicago held an exposition which celebrated the city's centennial and its "Century of Progress." A large number of canes were produced for this exhibition. This cane celebrated the end of prohibition and was made in several colors. The handle of the cane depicts a keg, with a glass directly below ready to hold the alcoholic beverage.

The pewter handle of the cane features a buffalo's head and incorporates a snuff box with a sliding cover. The handle also references nearby Niagara Falls, which had become one of the most popular tourist destinations in the country.

It depicts Lady Liberty on one side and a Revolutionary soldier on the other, with Independence Hall shown on both sides. The images on the cane mirrored the official poster of the Exhibition.
