Needlepoint purse (carpetbag) with two leather handles at the top, a skeleton key attached with a string to one of the handles, an interior frame, a locking metal clasp, leather box bottom and sides, linen lining; overall pattern of oak leaves of various colors set in diamonds of various colors, and bordered with straight sides with crosses at the corner intersections, leather piping surrounds the leatherwork on the bottom.
