Tableau mounted in wooden case with backing painted blue, composed of two dolls standing at each side of cradle with baby; dolls with poured wax shoulder heads, painted hair, and black bead eyes; stuffed cloth body with divided arm composed of stuffed cloth upper arm and wax lower arm, divided leg with stuffed cloth upper leg and wax lower leg; white silk dresses with high waists and short sleeves; improvised baby made of wax, wire, and textile in cradle composed of metal frame supported by beaded wire.
