Each class includes a special Little New-Yorkers hello song, silly dances and songs, a story book reading, and a craft to do at home. This week, read Florette, written and illustrated by Anna Walker. Meet Mae who moves to the city, but misses the trees and flowers of the countryside. Find out if she discovers a garden or greenspace in the city. Then, create a beautiful paper garden yourself with flowers, bumblebees and other springtime delights.

Then, make a flip book that shows the range of emotions that everyone can feel, from bad to mad and sometimes even glad!
