Alice in Wonderland doll made by the Alexander Doll Company for distribution in McDonald's "Happy Meals."
Gallery Label:
This doll was acquired by the donor at McDonald's with the purchase of a Happy Meal. The Alexander Doll Company was founded by Russian immigrant Beatrice Alexander Behrman (1895-1990), later known as Madame Alexander, in New York City in 1923. The company introduced the first "Alice in Wonderland" doll in the 1930s.
