Cream silk satin ribbon printed in black; depicts bust-length portrait of Andrew Jackson within square black frame with concave cut-out corners; inscription: "The Union Must & shall be Preserved/ANDREW JACKSON/Born near Waxhaw Settlement South Carolina/March 15th 1767./Died at the Hermitage June the 8th 1845."
