Description:
A silver colored medallion pierced at the top for hanging and embossed with Mercury's winged foot around a raised, red and blue enameled shield shaped plaque in the center with gold calipers over a right-angle ruler and an arm holding a hammer and the letters "JrO/ UAM". This medal appears to represent a chapter of the Free Masons, a mysterious and centuries old fraternal order involved in ritual celebrations, community and political service, moral education and philanthropy.
