Cotton copperplate-printed banner from the Battle of Coamo, Puerto Rico of the Spanish-American War; red and ochre stripe with crowned bugle printed in black ink in the center.
Gallery Label:
This banner was picked up from an open field during the Battle of Coamo, Puerto Rico, during the Spanish American War. It is believed to be a regimental handkerchief issued to all Spanish soldiers.
