Description:
Leather, brass, and iron carbine sling; white buff leather with rectangular brass buckle at one end, triangular brass tip at other end, and iron hook fastened to swivel that suspends from sling.
Gallery Label:
This sling was probably made for use with Hall-North percussion carbines, which were carried by American forces during the Mexican and Civil Wars.
