Description:
Olive green non-lead glass bottle (fragment) blown in a dip-mold; base of bottle including push-up and approximately one-quarter of the walls of the bottle; pontil mark on underside and iridescence and devitrification due to burial.
Gallery Label:
According to the accession records and an old label card with the bottle, it was found by the donor, a contractor, at the southwest corner of Broad and Front Streets in 1920.
