Description:
This rectangular pale green glass bottle has a hand finished cork lip and is embossed on the front "The Arcanum Extract" and on the sides "J. Winer & Co." and "New York". The back has a partially illegible paper label that reads in part "Directions for Taking The Arcanum Extract./ ...No particular pains need be taken with the diet during the use of this medicine; the food should be light and wholesome; abstain fron animal food if possible, and in all cases from intoxicating drinks...".
