Description:
This clear bottle has machine finished screw top and is still in its original green and yellow box. The Box is marked "Old Taylor/ Spiritus Frumenti/ Aged in Wood/ Affix RX Label Thru Opening/ For Medicinal Use Only/ Unexcelled for Medical Use." On the reverse "Bottled in Bond/ 100 Proof/ Full Pint/ Straight/ Kentucky Whiskey/ of Topmost Class." The bottle is embossed "Taylor 1st and only". A prohibition era liquor bottle meant to be sold legally as medicine. See also 2002.1.313
