Description:
Wrought silver bowl; deep, bowl-shaped body with a flared and scalloped rim chased with flowers and foliate scrolls; seated on a molded circular foot with a chased band of flowers; the shield reserve on the front center engraved, "S L" in script, surrounded by a floral garland and a banner below engraved, "SPERO/ MELIORA" in roman letters; maker's marks stamped on the base.
