Description:
A smokey gray transparent glass commemorative bowl, with a gold inside band just below the rim the reads "Wool Associates- 100th Anniversary Of The New York Cotton Exchange- Citrus Associates/ 1870-1970". The founding of the New York Cotton Exchange in 1870 marked the end of the factorage system for marketing America's most important 19th-century domestic crop and the beginning of today's futures trading system for buying and selling all commodities.
