Description:
Glazed pearlware bowl with dark blue transfer print decoration on interior of three mast steamship at bottom and border of flowers and leaves at top; on exterior two medallions of steamships and firing soldiers on land with fort to right and two medallions surrounded by floral decoration with inscription "Landing/of/Gen. Lafayette/at/ New York/1824."
