Description:
Cream colored hinged box with padded, lavender floral and butterfly printed cloth-covered lid. Inside is a typed inscription that reads: "Manufactured at the/ time of the Washington Bicentennial Celebration/ to be sold as a novelty; material covering top of/ box is a copy of dress material in a costume/ worn by Martha Washington./ Gift of Miss. C. Dunker, 1945 [to Bella Landauer]".
