Description:
This clear glass box has a lithographed tin top and held a tooth tablet. The lid reads in gold, green and yellow "California Tooth Tablet/ Makes the teeth pearly white and the guns hard and healthy.../ California Perfume Co. New York". The damp brush was rubbed on the cake of dentifrice to apply. The California Perfume Company became Avon.
