Circular oak box made out of piece of wood of oak tree planted by Lord Byron in 1808 at Neustead Abbey, England; oval silver plaque in center of top with engraved inscription.

This box was made out of wood from an oak tree planted by Lord Byron in 1808 at Neustead Abbey, England. The box was presented by a proprietor of the Abbey in 1853, Colonel Wildman, to Stephen C. Massett on June 18th, 1853.
