Dark brown (once black) silk boy's waistcoat, with lapels and 5 buttons down the front.

According to the accession record, this waistcoat is part of a Quaker costume worn by a boy ca. 1830 who lived in Westchester County; he was related to the Alexander Smith family "of carpet fame."
