Description:
Knotted hairwork bracelet with gold clasp fastener with fittings for safety chain (missing); a row of spiral design runs the center of the bracelet, flanked by rows of herringbone design; the clasp and fittings are engraved with acanthus leaves, inscription on obverse.

According to a note found with this bracelet, it belonged to Sophie A. Turner of Brooklyn, New York, sister in law to John Pintard's granddaughter, Helen M. Davidson.
