Description:
Brown leather horse's breast plate with monogram, heart shaped brass plate with leather backing, three leather straps attached.
Gallery Label:
This horse's breast plate was used by Major General James Barnes in the Battle of Gettysburg, July 1-3, 1863. He was the donor's grandfather.
