Description:
Brisé fan with black-lacquered wooden blades with gold painted pagodas, bamboo trees, and other landscape features; blades joined by pink silk ribbon; monogram "LBC" on each guard; in rectangular cardboard box covered in embossed turquoise-colored paper.

According to the accession records, this fan belonged to the donor's mother, Lena (Angelina) Burr Corse (b. 1847), who used it as a child.
