Description:
Oval gold brooch (mourning?) with oculus in a-jour bezel, with hinged pin and hook attachments on reverse; obverse shows graying brown and blonde hair beneath glass, plaited in an oval, set on woven hair ground, framed with twisted ribbon design, bezel framed with larger twisted ribbon design; beveled glass oculus on reverse shows the back side of the woven hair ground.
