Description:
Wrought silver cake basket; oval bowl-shaped body with two shallow flutes on each side; pierced decoration around the sides, foliate scrolls in the flutes, lattice at the ends and scroll and shell lattice at the sides; cast and applied shell and foliate scroll decoration around the rim; engraved, "MDBM" in the center in script; maker's marks on the base.
