Description:
Amethyst lead glass candlestick; blown cylindrical socket with flaring rim; collar at bottom of socket joined to solid dumbell-shaped standard with spherical knop at top and slightly angular knop at bottom; circular base.
Gallery Label:
The lack of wear and the lack of a pontil mark indicate that this may be a twentieth century copy of an earlier form.
