Gallery Label:
The Statue of Liberty, a gift from France located in New York Harbor, is one of the most striking symbols of New York City. Baltimore carver Pat Harris was asked to design a cane which displayed the iconic figure of the Statue for the Grumet cane collection. The cane head and shaft reflected the greenish patina of the Statue.
