Description:
A quart size Mason jar in an unusual color-amber. The jar is embossed on the front "The/ Mason's/ Improved", the "improved" referred to a new method of closure that used a metal ring instead of a wire bail to seal a glass lid. It was notoriously unreliable and only manufactured for a brief period.
