Bronze struck medal with obverse showing uniformed bust of Lewis Warrington facing right with legend: "LUDOVICUS WARRINGTON DUX NAVALIS AMERI." Reverse shows naval battle scene with legend: "PRO PATRIA PARATUS AUT VINCERE AUT MORIS"; inscription in exergue: "INTER PEACOCK NAV. AMERI./ET EPERVIE NAV. ANG./DIE XXIX MAR./MDCCCXIV."
