Description:
Cast and seamed silver card case; rectangular, elongated quatrefoil shaped body with notched corners; all over foliate scroll engraving on both sides of the body around a chamfered rectangle reserve engraved, "CK" on one side in script and around a purse-shaped reserve on the other; hinged lid; maker's marks stamped on the bezel.

This card case belonged to Catherine Ketchum who married Israel Corse, Jr. in 1846.
