Description:
Molded pearlware caster with dark blue transfer print of landing of General Lafayette at Castle Garden; baluster-shaped caster with pierced rounded top and circular foot; underside has corked opening; transfer print has Castle Garden, ships, and firing cannons, with plaque inscribed: "LANDING/OF/GEN. LA FAYETTE/AT/NEW YORK/1824."
