Description:
Copper struck medal with obverse showing undraped bust of Washington in circular panel surrounded by oak wreath on large keystone, crest of Washington arms above; initials in exergue: "GW"; dates on either side: "1732/1799." Reverse with arch and keystone with legend: "WASHINGTON/FIT KEYSTONE/WHICH SPANS/THE NATION'S CENTURY"; inscription: "IN THE/TRIUMPHAL/ARCH"; dates above on either side: "1776/1876."
