Silver struck medal with obverse depicting coat of arms with legend above: "CERCLE DES DEUX MONDES"; date below: "1854". Reverse bears world globe surmounted by dove and encircled by laurel wreath; scrolling band inscribed: "THE WORLD" runs across; legend: "LES DISTANCES SONT GRANDES L'UNION LES EFFACE."
