Description:
silver cheese scoop with a downturned handle with a short midrib on the underside and the engraved initial, "B" in gothic script on the front; shovel-shaped bowl; makers' marks stamped on the underside of the handle.

This cheese scoop was given to the donor's mother, Marie Antoinette Baker Davis on the occassion of her marriage to Fellows Davis in 1871.
