Description:
White cotton chemise (tea gown) with a high banded neckline of needlepoint lace and tucking; chest decorated with false lapels trimmed with needlepoint lace ruffles forming a deep V-shape; chest lapels and shoulder fabric has bands of needlepoint lace trim and tucking; 3/4 length fitted sleeves decorated with white work circles and a needlepoint lace cuff; skirt has tucking and white work circles below the waist with single bands of needlepoint lace down the center and the sides; two layers of ruffles above the hem trimmed with needlepoint lace; three mother-of-pearl buttons at the neck and metal hooks and eyes close up the rest of the back.
