Description:
Two felt patches; one is olive with three brown chevrons at top; other is olive-drab with two brown chevrons; both have gold thread caduceus in center.
Gallery Label:
These chevrons were worn by members of the U.S. Army Medical Corps on the upper sleeves of their uniform jackets. Two chevrons indicate a corporal, and three denote a sergeant.
