Bronze struck medal with obverse depicting stylized nude male figure flanked by vertically inscribed "RESEARCH" and "INDUSTRY", with dated below "1833 1933." Reverse has map of fairgrounds surrounded by legend: "A CENTURY OF PROGRESS INTERNATIONAL EXPOSITION CHICAGO 1933."

This medal was the official medal of the 1933 Century of Progress International Exposition in Chicago. The dies for it were executed by the Medallic Art Company.
