Description:
White muslin christening gown with a round neckline trimmed with needlepoint lace; long wide sleeves with a fitted cuff of cotton whitework trimmed with needlepoint lace; false smock front apron made of alternating vertical bands of muslin, cotton floral whitework and geometric patterned needlepoint lace; edges of the "apron" are trimmed with scalloped needlepoint lace with a double ruffle over the seam of the sleeves; wide muslin ties attach at the sides of the high waistline; five bands of tucks round around the dress above the hem; four cotton covered buttons up the back.
