Description:
Dark blue wool officer's cloakcoat; closed double collar (one hook and eye); 4 sets of frogs down the front, with looped lacing design; closed sleeves (no cuffs), with officer's sleeve knots (major's?); cape fastens to coat with buttons around the neck beneath the collar, cape fastens closed by originally 6 buttons down the front; coat split at the center at the back, split buttons closed; red wool lining.
