Description:
Medium blue wool New York National Guard single-breasted coat; 1" closed stand-up collar (one hook and eye) with gilt lacing around the outer edges; black shoulder loops which button at the collar end; 5 buttons down the front; closed sleeves (no cuffs) with 3 buttons at the wrist on vertical strip of black wool; 4 panels across the back; coat unlined, except shoulders lined with brown cotton and sleeves lined with white cotton.
