Description: 
Dark blue artillery officer's double-breasted frock coat; 1 1/2" open stand-up collar lined with dark blue velvet; colonel's shoulder straps, with eagle against red ground; 7 buttons down each side of the front; closed 9 3/4" wide (flat) sleeves (no cuffs) with 3 buttons at each wrist; back made in 4 panels, 2 buttons near the center at the waistline, a button on each side of split skirt; all buttons cast with shield-breasted each with "A" at the center; coat lined with green silk, sleeves lined with white silk, horizontal slit pocket at the left breast, breast lightly padded and quilted.
